Actual Pain for Vice.

I don't tend to blog about certain clothing companies/designers but i when i realised Vice had done a recent article about one of my favourite t-shirt companies i had to. Incase you don't know, Actual Pain is a clothing company and blog with a very tight relationship with current 'witch house' music genre. Basically some really bad ass clothing worn by some bad ass musicians.

In the article they interview TJ Cowgill, the creator of the brand (pictured above) about his clothes and their inspirations. One thing he said i found very interesting.

Is the devil and the occult played in fashion?

It's getting there, through no fault of my own! Seriously, it's been around for a while, it rises up and gets stepped on and disappears for a few years then pops back up again. It's the nature of the occult.

One of my grandma's japanese friends who apparently used to adore me when i was a kid send me this t-shirt. No idea what it says though...if anyone know's what it does say feel free to tell me because i kind of want to avoid the awkward situation when someone asks me what it does actually say. I think it means something like 'happy' or 'luck' but secretly hoping it says 'i'm hungry feed me' or something.

Just watched the shining for the first time and i don't know how to feel about it. Can't really decide if it's over-rated or deserves all the attention it got. Oh well i'm too tired to think and i promise one day i will upload a picture which won't be taken on photo-booth (haha).

Incase you couldn't tell, I'm not that great at writing posts on my blog, and i think people mainly come for the pictures anyway. I mean its not like i have a super interesting life to write about. So from now on i am thinking that this blog will mainly become a place for me to post the usual outfits, music and other things i find interesting. Most of the time i read over my own posts and don't even like them myself. So i will most likely be letting my pictures do the talking from now on.

Today i woke up and started walking to school, i was at the end of my street when i realised. I was one hour earlier than my lesson starts, so i came home and sat on my bed listening to josh rouse. My life is so fun, right? The pictures above are just some quick shots my friend took of me when we were out on Sunday.

This is also a little off note, but i bought 500 days of summer on DVD a few days ago, every time i watch it i can't help but fall in love with Zooey Deschanel, even if she is a bitch in the film.

I always find it so difficult to choose what to wear when it snows and i usually end up wearing something purely for the purpose of taking pictures, so these pictures are no exception.

Like i said, not only do i suck at choosing clothes for appropriate weather conditions, but i also suck at using my tripod and taking pictures without my glasses on which doesn't make me have a lazy eye. OVER IT. Now all the snow has melted anyway and i don't know why, but each year i get more and more blasé about it. You realise that after building snowmen and having 5 second snowball fights, their is little else to do, or maybe i have just grown up? Oh and i wore those jeans out today for the first time, the amount of looks i got was beyond counting, mostly middle aged women who think they are the shit, rant over.

Im sure you ALL want to know how my exam went because you all LOVE ME SO MUCH AND READ MY BLOG DAILY. ;) Well it went better than expected anyway, guess i will have to wait for the results!

Time to watch more reality TV and read "the virgin suicides"!

But hey, I am not complaining. 3 days off school has been a nice little extended christmas holidays! This is what i wore yesterday after i fineshed school for the weekend, the tshirt was supposed to be for christmas but i couldnt resist, naughty me. You can find the picture on lookbook here.

Incase you were wondering what is sewn onto the cardigan by my heart, heres a close up.

One day when i went into town with my friends we found this amazing button shop which sold the cutest buttons ever! I found these cute little school themed ones. At first i didnt know what to do with them but then i had the idea to sew them onto my plain black cardigan, so i did! The best thing is each button cost something like 10pence. sooo good. What can i say, im a nerd at heart :B haha!.

Also from santa i think i am going to get a imac, my very first and best you can get.27" seems a little crazy but i dont care, i know if i get the 21.5" i will always have that regret that i didnt buy the 27". I read somewhere that when you buy a mac, you never want to even use a pc again, but i guess i will let you all know. I also have some other pictures from this film i might upload at a later date. The above photos were taken a few weeks ago. The whole film on the whole came out very badly, but i guess these two fabbbulous pictures make up for it. The model in the pictures if my best friend Danielle. I was trying something different with the bottom picture where i opened the back of my camera and exposed the film to the sunlight. I guess it turned out kind of cool and i love the orange glow the bottom picture has. Also im currently looking for more people to take pictures of, anyone interested? :]

So, of course when i saw the latest issuse of POP with her on the cover, i just had to buy it! When i was 13 i dont even think i knew fashion magazines exsisted, let alone being on the cover of one. TAVI IS DA BOMB. So what i mean by the title is that tonight i decided to have a night in complete with dirty dancing(rip patrick) POP & LOVE and jesus' blood. aka frijj. Busy Week

This week has been my first week at school so I've been really busy trying to sort of subjects and the work has already started drowning me! Then on Friday i got called for a job interview, i got the job. Pretty pleased since it was my first ever job interview! GO ME, GO ME. Then i went to a geek themed party, which was really not a good idea seeing as i started work the next day. woooopppssieeee.

THEN, i had my first day of work. THEN on sunday i did more school work and made this video with Danielle! First time trying something like this and windows movie maker was being ubershitty, but oh well. :]

I start back school tomorrow, so I thought I would show you all my new schoolbag and also a new jumper iIbought! I went to see (500) Days Of Summer when I went shopping yesterday, and it was very good! I had read a few reviews saying it was good, but not great. Well I thought it was great & the soundtrack was perfect for the movie.

So now I'm thinking I might have an early night for the first day of school, which is actually for only 2 hours so they can tell us some information and we can get out timetables. Goodnight!

The shirt takes about 4-5hours to make and its super simple and actually it kept me entertained when i had nothing else to do. Tomorrow i am going to see 500 Days Of Summer & do some shopping with a my friend Danielle. I have been looking forward to seeing the movie for a while now, and i really hope it lives up to my expectations. On friday i start back to school, and it has come back around so quickly.
